Research

From curiosity to inquiry, open to everyone.

Sorinverse's mission is to liberate the human mind, advance human civilization, and usher in a new era of discovery open to everyone. We aim to gradually reduce the cognitive burden of everyday survival, repetitive tasks, and information overload — freeing up time and energy for more people to explore the world, the universe, science, and life. We conduct our own research and work toward building a platform where anyone, regardless of academic credentials, can start exploring from their own curiosity.

More of human intelligence, for exploration.

Sustaining everyday life is essential. Rather than denying the effort it takes, we want to build systems that lighten the load — creating more room for thinking, learning, and discovery. That's the shared purpose behind Sorinverse's research and product work.

Reducing burden

Through AI and software, we aim to reduce the time and energy spent on repetitive work and information management.

Connecting knowledge

Supporting learning, memory, and thinking — helping people find, connect, and apply the knowledge they need.

Lowering barriers to research

Regardless of background, we envision supporting access to knowledge, tools, equipment, funding, and research resources — so more people can participate in research.

A new era of discovery, open to everyone.

We envision a future where anyone with curiosity, regardless of academic credentials or background, has the opportunity to become a scientific explorer. By freeing cognitive capacity and lowering barriers to knowledge, tools, equipment, funding, and research resources, we aim to help more people contribute to research. Through collaboration between people and AI, we hope to see more researchers emerge and breakthroughs of Nobel Prize caliber happen more frequently and at a faster pace.

Our research and an open research platform.

Sorinverse's research

We focus on human intelligence, learning, memory, thinking, knowledge structuring, and AI-assisted growth — sharing questions and reflections as research notes. Hypotheses and ideas under consideration are shared with their stage clearly labeled.

A platform open to everyone

We aim to build a space where participation isn't gated by academic credentials — where anyone can start from their own observations and questions, explore resources, learn methods, and collaborate. Curiosity as the entry point, evidence as the standard.

Future vision

Themes we want to explore

These are our current areas of interest and the directions we hope to expand over time. Not all themes have active research projects underway.

Human intelligence and growth

How can we support learning, memory, and thinking — and expand what people are capable of?

The structure and connections of knowledge

How can we represent relationships between ideas in ways that aid understanding, discovery, and application?

Human–AI collaboration

How can AI reduce cognitive load and support human judgment, creativity, and exploration?

Curiosity about the world, universe, and life

From everyday phenomena to the largest questions — how can we open up cross-disciplinary inquiry? A long-term direction.

Research begins with a single "why?"

You don't need to aim for major results from the start. Taking a nearby question and slowly turning it into something verifiable — that's how research begins.

  1. 1

    Find the question

Put into words what you're curious about or don't yet understand.

  2. 2

    Survey what's already known

Read existing research and reliable sources; record citations.

  3. 3

    Plan how to verify

Choose methods suited to your question: observation, comparison, data analysis.

  4. 4

    Record the process and results

Note what didn't work and what remains unclear.

  5. 5

    Share and revise

Update your question and thinking as new evidence and perspectives emerge.

AI can help with organizing information and supporting thinking — but it cannot substitute for verifying sources, data, and conclusions yourself.

The research values we hold

Open to curiosity

The value of a question isn't determined by academic credentials or titles.

Grounding in evidence

Distinguish facts, hypotheses, and personal reflection; show sources and methods.

Sharing the process

Communicate not just results, but the trials, errors, and limitations.

Mutual respect

Honor different experiences; deepen understanding through critique and verification.

Turn your curiosity into a next step.

An open research platform for everyone is a vision Sorinverse is working toward. For now, we share our questions and thinking through research notes.
